These include; branding typography, car design, Chinese artwork, pastel drawings and t-shirt design. Biernat’s portfolio can be seen over at both Behance and Dribbble where he displays a striking selection. Inspired by this, we asked Biernat to explain his design journey so far…

Tell us about you and your design style?

I have been a graphic designer for several years and am mostly self-taught. It was art classes at school that helped me decide what I wanted to do. At the beginning I dealt with painting (pastels) and fine pieces of Chinese artwork. The next step was car design – I still draw cars today.

I really like to work with high precision and am very happy on projects using guilloche patterns.

Typography is something that I discovered in myself a while ago, but it is still not appreciated in Poland. Customers from outside the country allow me to realize this passion.

Where do you find the inspiration for your work?

I find inspiration often looking at old newspapers from the years 1900-1930, as well as old advertisements on the walls or in the interiors of historic buildings. Often random places or objects can be an inspiration, and of course other artists.
