It’s amazing how time flies by. Back in April I interviewed Ilise Benun and SueAnn Stein to find out more about the four events at HOW Design Live to help our readers decide which of the four would suit them the best. If you didn’t read or listen to the interview you can do so HERE. Now, in around 3 weeks times there are going to be thousands of creative professionals making their way to Boston to take part in HOW Design Live.
The four conferences will take place concurrently and there will be a real mix of people from graphic designers to photographers, from illustrators to writers. It is not just an opportunity to learn from the speakers but also to meet new people. Networking, free resources, job opportunities are just a few of the areas why people attend. For some it’s a yearly get-together and others it’s the knowledge they gain from the speakers and for example the Keynote sessions.
Some people will choose to attend all four conferences, others will attend the conference they feel they will get the most out of. However one thing that HOW Design Live seem to have done a good job of is giving everyone the opportunity to network under the same roof. There will for example be evening parties, studio tours and workshops for everyone to attend.
Just to remind you here is a list of the four conferences:
• HOW Design Conference (June 22-25, 2012)
• Creative Freelancer Conference (June 21-22, 2012)
• InHOWse Managers Conference (June 21-23, 2012)
• The Dieline Package Design Conference (June 22-25, 2012)
I forgot to mention that every attendee will have the opportunity to access the HOW Design Live Exhibit Center. This will be full of vendors offering everything from computer software to stock photography as well as many other resources for creative professionals.
