Graphic Designer

Full-Time Position

Position Summary

Reporting to the CTO, the Graphic Designer is part of the Information Technology department of a biometric security system company and provides graphic design to different departments such as marketing, management and the engineering team. The Graphic Designer must be able to design, produce visual presentations, collateral material, brochures, website content, graphical user interfaces for software pieces.

Position Description & Responsibilities:

  • Plans, conducts, and coordinates graphic design activities and lead overall company corporate image.
  • Designs, develops, and documents collateral.
  • Brainstorming and mocking up design ideas with the relevant departments.
  • Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the graphic design life cycle.
  • Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software.
  • Ensures corporate image standards are met.
  • Problem Solving Ability, Technical Skill, Artistic Sensibility and Organization.



Required Skills: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator/CorelDraw, Adobe InDesign, Interface design, Page layout, User experience design, Printmaking, Collateral design, Typography, Web design, Ms-PowerPoint.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education also acceptable.

Experience: 4 years of professional experience in a related field; or 2 years professional experience required with a related Master’s degree.

Other: The candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to apply Human Factors tools and methodologies to develop Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) including Screen, menu layout and sequencing required. Must be able to use computer software to execute designs. Must be able to work with others, such as printers, programmers, developers or other technicians, to complete the final product.
